Leah, Emma and Claire (and Jen and John)

Emma just took her first step. I didn’t see it (go figure) but John and my parents did. We leave for the airport in 45 minutes. If she walks when we’re in Vegas I don’t think my mom is going to tell us!

Well our bags are pretty much packed - just a couple more hours and we’ll be on our way to Vegas. We are both really excited to be going although it’s going to be strange to leave the girls. My parents will take good care of them and we bought calling cards so I can call 3 times a day to check up on them(the girls that is). Last time we were in Vegas on our honeymoon I missed the cat so I’m a bit worried but we need a break - the last 15 months have been pretty intense. I know we’ve had lots of help but ever since I started puking on week 6 of pregnancy my life just hasn’t been my own. I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself but I’m not too worried. The forecast is fantastic and the pool is waiting for me and the blackjack and poker tables are waiting for John.
