Thank you for all your birthday calls, emails and cards. John and I are very lucky to have the girls and also to have so many people that care about them. It means a lot to all four of us!
I can’t even begin to describe how hot it is in this house. There are no trees for shade or blinds and the sun beats in all day long. We are going to get some blinds tomorrow.
Yesterday I was so hot from lugging two sweaty babies around all day that by the time John got home from work I had a terrible headache and started throwing up. No, I am not pregnant, although when I feel like that I tell John I WILL DIE if I get sick again next time I’m pregnant. For those of you that didn’t know I was really sick for 10 weeks with the girls. I could hardly sit at a desk and do my job nevermind run after toddlers all day long. The girls are hot but they don’t seem to mind the heat which is a relief. The AC will be installed next Friday - 8 days to go. We are on day 5 of 30C plus weather and the forecast calls for nothing but scorching heat.
So I’m too hot to sit here and write the update. They have their pediatrician appointment on Monday so I will wait and do it then.
We did get some exciting news today. Mattamy gave us notice that they are going to start the curbs and sidewalks on Monday. They don’t commit on how long it takes but the guy said we might have grass in a month or so. Imagine - grass by the end of July!
