We are now driving a van! John’s parents decided that the Focus wasn’t safe so we have traded vehicles with them. We are now driving their van and everybody has lots of leg room. The Focus is in Windsor enjoying the nice warm weather.
We had a nice holiday weekend. The girls are back in teething hell and both of their gums and bums are very sore. They are pretty happy for the most part but they were harder to get to bed than usual. They went to sleep fine tonight at home so fingers crossed they are feeling better.
John and I took advantage of having family around and went out two nights in a row. Friday night we went to the Windsor casino. It was the first time we have been to a casino since our honeymoon in Vegas and it made us both want to go back. Last night we went to see Hitch. It was entertaining.
Ronan John Lamarche was born on Friday afternoon weighing in at 7lbs 11ozs. We stopped into the hospital in Guelph today to see him. He is very cute and I’m sure the girls are going to have lots of fun with him. Carrie and Coby are doing well and they expect to be home from the hospital tomorrow.
The last time I held a fullterm newborn I was 12 (my cousin Kiera). Holding Ronan tonight it hit me just how small and fragile the girls were when they were born. I have been saying that I would like to try a one baby pregnancy but tonight made me revise that statement to a fullterm one baby pregnancy…not anytime soon though!
I will ask Coby and Carrie if I can post a picture of Ronan. John’s parents got a digital camera so they took plenty of Easter pics. I’ll have to get some from them because I didn’t even unpack the camera.
